New york: Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi met with Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Expatriates Affairs, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, during the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The meeting focused on enhancing dialogue and strategic partnerships between the GCC and Egypt.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions covered strengthening relations in various fields to support shared objectives. The officials also addressed regional and international issues, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip and violations by Israeli forces against Palestinians.
Both leaders stressed the need for collective efforts to establish a ceasefire, deliver aid urgently, and resolve the crisis to maintain regional and international security and stability.
