GCC Common Market Committee and GCC Industrial Development Committee Hold 2nd Meeting

The GCC Common Market Committee and GCC Industrial Development Committee held their second joint meeting in Riyadh today, with representatives from the GCC countries, the GCC Secretariat General, and the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in attendance.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the challenges related to the Gulf Common Market, as highlighted in the GOIC studies. They also deliberated on the issues of government procurement and local Gulf content. The participants also focused on guiding laws related to the Gulf Common Market and set a time frame to convert them into mandatory ones. Additionally, they discussed ways to support the Gulf private sector in the industrial field and relation to the Gulf Common Market.
