Riyadh: President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam Alangari met today with President and CEO of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Anthony Pugliese. The meeting was held on the sidelines of Pugliese's participation in the 6th Internal Audit Forum, organized by GCA-represented by the Saudi Center for Financial and Performance Auditing (SCFPA)-at its headquarters in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussion focused on developments in the internal auditing profession and GCA's ongoing efforts to advance the field in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both sides explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration and promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
The IIA serves as the global professional authority for internal audit institutions and associations. Dr. Alangari has been a member of its Board of Directors since 2022. He also serves as President of the Arab Federation of Internal Auditors Associations, which represents internal audit professionals across the Arab world.
