It also underscored the critical importance of respecting the sovereignty, unity, independence, and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen, while firmly rejecting any actions that threaten Middle East security and the rights and freedoms of maritime navigation. The ministry reiterated its demand that the international commun ity fulfill its responsibilities by implementing relevant Security Council resolutions and taking a firm stance against violations that threaten regional stability, safe navigation, and international trade, which undermine efforts to achieve peace in Yemen and the broader Middle East. Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its unwavering determination to preserve its security and sovereignty, reserving the right to defend its citizens, assets, and facilities against any attacks and to take all necessary measures in accordance with international law. The ministry underscored Saudi Arabia's steadfast support for the legitimate Yemeni government and the diplomatic efforts of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen to achieve lasting peace and stability, enhancing broader security across the Middle East and safeguarding international maritime routes.
