Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi took part in a meeting of the Arab Ministerial Liaison Committee aimed at facilitating direct dialogue with the Syrian government to reach a comprehensive resolution to the Syrian crisis. The meeting was held in Cairo on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the 162nd regular session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level. During the session, the committee also met with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad to discuss key issues. It was agreed to form a team of experts to examine the matters being addressed in coordination with the Syrian government. The experts' meeting will be held in Baghdad at a later date, to be determined. Source: Jordan News Agency
