- Al-Sadd Club officially announced the signing of Algerian international Youcef Atal, starting from the 2024-2025 season for two seasons, arriving from French club Nice. The Club also officially announced the signing of Spanish player Cristo Gonzalez, starting from the 2024-2025 season on a four-year contract, arriving from Portuguese club Arouca. This signing is part of Al-Sadd's management's efforts to bolster the squad with top players in preparation for domestic and international competitions. Youcef Atal began his career with Paradou AC in the 2015-16 season, playing for two seasons and participating in 48 matches, during which he scored six goals. He then moved to Belgian club Kortrijk in the 2017-18 season for one season, where he played 10 matches without scoring any goals. After that, he joined Nice in the 2018-19 season, and from January 2024, he played with Turkish club Adana Demirspor for six months. The Spanish striker played for Real Madrids youth team before moving on to several clubs, inc luding Huesca, Mirandes, Real Valladolid, and Sporting Gijon. Source: Qatar News Agency
