Lyon: The Film Commission is actively engaging in the International Classic Film Market at the Lumi¨re Film Festival 2025, held from October 11-19 in Lyon, France, underscoring Saudi Arabia's commitment to film heritage preservation and cultural exchange through cinema.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Lumi¨re Film Festival, established by the Institut Lumi¨re, stands as a prestigious global event celebrating classic cinema. Annually hosted in Lyon, the festival gathers film professionals, historians, and enthusiasts to present restored works and revisit enduring films.

Within the framework of the Lumi¨re Film Festival, the March© International du Film Classique (MIFC) serves as a pivotal platform for film archiving, restoration, and distribution. It attracts specialists from over 30 countries, including distributors, film associations, rights holders, and restoration laboratories.

The Film Commission's pavilion at the MIFC is set to highlight Saudi Arabia's film preservation, restoration, and digitization efforts.
