The Ministry of Youth and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) organized a forum dubbed “Exploration and Coexistence Forum for Girls” on Sunday, bringing together 30 young women from Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, and Kuwait. The 4-day forum includes workshops on exploring and coexisting with nature, introducing Jordan’s history and civilization, and visiting various tourist sites, including hikes in Ajloun and Madaba and trips to the Dana Biosphere Reserve, Petra, and the Roman theater. During the opening ceremony, attended by Saudi Ambassador Nayef bin Bandar al-Sudairi, Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, and Kuwait’s First Secretary Saleh Al-Harran, Minister of Youth Mohammad Nabulsi reaffirmed the strong bond between Jordan and the GCC member states. The forum is part of the Ministry’s joint youth programs with the GCC countries that aims to encourage youth participation in advancing their societies, achieving Sustainable Development Goals, and providing opportunities for young people to meet and exchange experiences with participants from different countries. Esraa Al-Rashdi from Oman expressed gratitude on behalf of the participants during her speech, thanking Jordan for hosting the program, which offers young women a chance to explore and engage in adventurous experiences at various tourist sites.
