Makkah, The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Makkah Region has announced its readiness for the Hajj season of 1445 AH, where all specialized personnel have been stationed and started their duties on May 28 and will continue work until the end of the Hajj season. Branch Director Eng. Majid Al-Khalif inaugurated a workshop that targeted the ministry branch supervisors working during this Hajj season as part of their final preparations today. The workshop included discussions on the tasks of various participating departments. He pointed out the readiness of the region's slaughterhouses according to the highest health standards, adding that all necessary measures have been taken in cooperation with all relevant entities to meet the needs of slaughterhouse visitors and enhance the readiness of butchers. The director stressed intensifying monitoring campaigns in slaughterhouses and livestock pens, reiterating the need to adhere to all health requirements to ensure proper servic e provision under safe and healthy conditions, addressing negative phenomena that impede environmental sanitation, and enhancing the performance level of all workers.
