Ehsan Platform to Handle Adahi Requests in Preparation for Hajj

General

Riyadh, The National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) is receiving animal sacrifice (Adahi) requests for the fourth consecutive year. The platform is partnering with Saudi Arabia’s Adahi Project to facilitate the distribution of sacrificial animals to deserving individuals. The initiative aims to digitally empower the charitable work sector and streamline the donation process. Specifically, the Adahi program allows individuals to digitally request sacrifices and authorize the platform to deliver them to those who qualify under Sharia rules. Sacrificers can monitor the status of their requests in real-time and will be notified once the sacrifice is carried out. Last Hajj season, the platform received over 75,000 sacrifices, totaling more than SAR54 million. The program also offers other services, such as choosing Adahi and Hadi during the Hajj season and Fedyah, Aqeeqah, and Charity (Sadaqah) throughout the year. Source: Saudi Press Agency
