Egypt condemns Israeli aggression on Jenin

Egypt strongly condemned the Israeli occupation aggression on Jenin in occupied West Bank that resulted in the death of five victims and injury of 27 others.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry affirmed in a statement its rejection of these recurring aggressions and incursions against innocent civilians and the arbitrary and excessive use of force, calling it a blatant breach of international law.

The statement further warned of the dangers of the continuous Israeli escalation, its augmentation of the suffering of Palestinian people, adding that this violence undermines efforts aiming to ease tensions.

It called on all active parties to intervene and put an end to these breeches, and provide the Palestinian people with the necessary protection.
