Education Minister Reviews Digital Programs at Arab Bureau of Education for Gulf States

Riyadh: Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan recently visited the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS) at its headquarters in Riyadh. During his visit, the minister was briefed on various programs and projects the bureau is undertaking, including its specialized centers focusing on educational research and studies, as well as competitions, awards, and digital and technological transformation initiatives. The visit also covered areas of authorship and translation.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Director-General of the Bureau of Education, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Asmi, highlighted the visit as an opportunity to bolster integration and cooperation across multiple fields. He acknowledged the significant support and care the bureau receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, which has been pivotal in achieving the bureau's goals and fulfilling its mission.

Minister Al-Benyan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in advancing educational and pedagogical initiatives. He stressed the importance of developing an education system that is based on values and skills, viewing it as essential for nurturing future generations. Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of adapting to digital and technological transformations to enhance the quality of education, expand learning opportunities, and ensure sustainability.
