Riyadh: Dusty winds are expected to persist in the regions of Riyadh, Madinah, Makkah, and Najran today, significantly reducing horizontal visibility to near zero, particularly along the coastal road to Jazan and over the Najran Region. Thunderclouds accompanied by active winds are anticipated over the Jazan and Aseer regions. The Eastern Region will continue to experience hot to extremely hot temperatures.
According to Saudi Press Agency, surface winds over the Red Sea are predicted to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h in the northern and central parts, and westerly to northwesterly at 20 to 45 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are expected to range from half to one meter in the northern and central areas and from one to two meters in the southern areas, with the sea conditions being calm to moderate.
In the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds will initially be northwesterly to northerly, shifting in the evening to southeasterly to easterly in the northern and central parts, and easterly to northeasterly in the southern parts, at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h. Wave heights in this region are expected to range from half to one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
