Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are anticipated to affect parts of the Eastern, Riyadh, and Najran regions, while thunderclouds are set to develop in areas including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that winds over the Red Sea will vary from northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 25-45 km/h in the northern and central parts. In the southern part, winds will shift from northwesterly to southwesterly, blowing at speeds of 15-50 km/h. Consequently, wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, leading to conditions that will fluctuate from calm to choppy at sea.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates that winds will be predominantly northwesterly to westerly, reaching speeds of 15-40 km/h. Wave heights are projected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in a relatively calm sea state.
