Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are expected to sweep across several regions, accompanied by moderate to heavy rain and hail, impacting areas including Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, and the Eastern and Northern Borders regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, light to moderate rain is also anticipated in parts of Najran, Jazan, and Aseer. The weather patterns indicate shifting wind directions over the Red Sea, where southeasterly to easterly winds will change to northeasterly to northwesterly in the northern part during the evening. In the central part, winds will move from northeasterly to northerly, then to northwesterly, at speeds between 10-25 km/h. The southern part will experience southwesterly to southerly winds, transitioning to southeasterly to northeasterly at speeds of 12-45 km/h, with waves reaching heights of half a meter to two meters, resulting in a calm sea.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are predicted at speeds of 20-45 km/h in the northern and central areas, while the southern part will see northwesterly to westerly winds at 20-40 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to two meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea.
