Riyadh:The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) is set to participate in the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, scheduled from October 1 to 10, under the theme 'A Destination for All.' As the 'Legacy Partner,' DGDA will focus on the theme 'Lasting Roots' to emphasize the historical and cultural importance of the At-Turaif Historical District and Diriyah's living heritage.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the DGDA's participation will spotlight the At-Turaif Historical District, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010, as part of an initiative to showcase Saudi Arabia's World Heritage Sites. This effort aligns with DGDA's mission to preserve and promote awareness of the historical and cultural heritage of the Saudi state's birthplace, highlighting At-Turaif's significance as the seat of government of the First Saudi State.
Visitors to the DGDA pavilion will experience an integrated journey through Diriyah and the At-Turaif Historical District, featuring immersive and curated visual content to illustrate the area's architectural, cultural, and historical importance. The exhibition will also delve into the history of the Imams of the First Saudi State, showcasing the leadership values and legacy.
The visitor experience will culminate with elements inspired by Saudi hospitality and Arabic calligraphy, extending the narrative of Diriyah's cultural values and expressions. The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition is a premier event focused on falconry, hunting, equestrianism, and related activities, attracting enthusiasts and specialists from both Saudi Arabia and internationally, supporting heritage awareness, sustainability, and investment opportunities in related sectors.
