Riyadh: The Deputy Minister of Human Resources and Social Development for the Labor Sector, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Abu Thnain, held a significant meeting today with Safaa El Tayeb El-Kogali, the World Bank Director for GCC Countries, at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh. The discussions centered around the existing cooperation and projects between the ministry and the World Bank, aiming to explore avenues for enhancing and strengthening their joint efforts towards achieving shared objectives. According to Saudi Press Agency, both parties deliberated on the latest developments in the labor market strategy, a collaborative effort developed in partnership with the World Bank. Dr. Abu Thnain expressed appreciation for the World Bank's crucial and unique role, particularly highlighting its effective cooperation with the Kingdom. He emphasized the ongoing partnership with the ministry in organizing the second International Labor Market Conference, which is set to take place in January 2025.
