The International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2024, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh, offers a variety of events for visitors of all ages. Open to the public from October 3 to October 12, the exhibition features cultural, artistic, heritage, and digital displays, all centered on falconry. One of the standout exhibitions is the digital museum Shalayil, which provides a comprehensive educational experience, allowing visitors to explore every aspect of falcons. It highlights the significance of falcons in Arab culture and heritage and offers an in-depth look at the characteristics of various falcon species, along with a broader view of Saudi heritage and ancient traditions. The Al-Ahsa Oasis Museum, another key exhibit, focuses on one of the Kingdom's most prominent tourist destinations, Al-Ahsa Oasis. The museum underscores its status as a UNESCO World Heritage site and its entry into the Guinness World Records as the largest palm oasis in the world, with over 2.5 millio n palm trees. Visitors can explore the rich archaeological and heritage treasures of the oasis. A section of the exhibition, "Future Falconer," spans over 1,000 square meters and is dedicated to children, blending education with ancient heritage. It provides an engaging and entertaining learning experience for children of all ages. Visitors will also have the chance to explore the heritage weaving pavilion, where craftswomen from various regions of Saudi Arabia showcase traditional and handcrafted items, highlighting the Kingdom's rich artisanal traditions. Additionally, the Live Art Gallery presents an innovative and captivating artistic experience. Over the course of ten days, twenty Saudi artists will exhibit thirty works of art, portraying the epic stories of falcons and falconers and their connection to Saudi culture and history.
