The Committee of Presidents of News Agencies of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has discussed the proposal for joint application of Gulf news agencies and the current status of news platforms that publish misleading and incorrect news about GCC countries.
The proposal was made during the committee’s 22nd meeting, organized by the GCC General Secretariat today via videoconference. The GCC countries’ proposals to boost inter-agency media cooperation were also reviewed during the meeting.
