Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted cold to very cold weather conditions today, with a possibility of frost forming in the early morning hours in the northern parts of the Kingdom.
According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are expected to affect a range of regions including Tabuk, Madinah, Makkah, Qassim, Riyadh, the Eastern Region, Najran, and the eastern highlands of Aseer and Al-Baha.
Light rain might occur in parts of Riyadh and the Eastern Region. For those near the Red Sea, northerly to northwesterly winds will dominate with speeds ranging from 25-55 km/h in the northern and central areas. In the southern parts, winds will transition from southeasterly to southwesterly, later shifting to northerly to northwesterly at speeds of 12-35 km/h by evening. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to three meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the forecast indicates northerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 20-55 km/h, potentially reaching speeds exceeding 55 km/h in northern and central parts. Choppy sea conditions are expected, with waves between one and a half meters to three meters high.
