Riyadh: China's Assistant Minister of Commerce Yuan Xiaoming congratulated the organizers on the successful opening of the 21st UNIDO General Conference (GC21), held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh from November 23 to 27.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in his address, Xiaoming emphasized the importance of smoothly functioning global supply chains and advancing global development goals in collaboration with the international community, including UNIDO. He mentioned China's active role as a contributor to the world economy and its participation in voluntary initiatives, noting that China is one of UNIDO's most engaged members.
