The Boulevard World has swiftly become a major tourist attraction, captivating both domestic and international visitors and solidifying its place as one of the most popular destinations of the Riyadh Season. This remarkable success, along with the diverse array of events offered throughout the season, contributed significantly to the impressive visitor turnout, exceeding 16 million attendees by January 10, 2025.
Constructed in just 82 days, Boulevard World encapsulates a multitude of global cultures, showcasing diverse experiences and ancient traditions from numerous countries, with plans for continued expansion each year. The expansive site comprises 22 distinct zones representing various nations, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, the Levant, India, Japan, Trkiye, Iran, China, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, the United States, and Mexico.
The destination boasts an impressive array of amenities, including 300 restaurants and cafes, over 1,400 shops, and the world's largest artificial lake, spanning 121,900 square meters. Visitors can explore the lake via submarines and boats, and enjoy the Boulevard Pier amusement area, featuring a range of thrilling rides, family-friendly attractions, and the iconic giant Boulevard Ferris Wheel, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
Further enhancing the visitor experience, Boulevard World houses the largest sphere in the Middle East, a luminous structure containing the Planet Cinema, a spherical theater offering an immersive 360-degree cinematic experience. Other attractions include the War Zone, a fleet of 47 boats of various types (including water taxis, gondolas, donut-shaped boats, Amphicars, Felucca boats, and a dragon boat), and a 1.2-kilometer cable car connecting Boulevard World to Boulevard Riyadh City, with a capacity of up to 3,000 passengers per hour.
