Border Guards Foil Attempt to Smuggle 230,000 Amphetamine Pills in Tabuk Region

Riyadh: Border Guard land patrols in Haql, Tabuk Region, foiled an attempt to smuggle 230,000 amphetamine pills. Initial regulatory procedures were completed, and the seized narcotics were referred to the competent authorities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or trafficking by dialing (911) in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Region, (999) or (994) in other regions of the Kingdom, or by contacting the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at (995) or via email.

Authorities affirmed that all reports will be addressed with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the informant.
