Riyadh: The fourth edition of the Beit Hail Festival 2025 concluded yesterday at Aja Park Entertainment Park, drawing more than 112,000 male and female visitors over its 35-day run.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the festival offered a rich cultural and entertainment experience, immersing attendees in Saudi Arabia's traditional crafts and customs. More than 40 activities and heritage corners were featured, showcasing skills such as wickerwork, sadu weaving, crochet, hand-woven textiles, Najdi- and Hail-style doors, clothing tailoring, Thamudic embroidery, wood carving, leather beading, fiber arts, and resin and soap making, in addition to the region's signature incense burners.
Visitors also enjoyed an array of traditional folk foods and performances at the central art theater, which hosted cultural presentations including the Hail Samri, the Saudi Ardah, and the Southern Al-Khutwa dance.
The festival served as a platform to support local artisans, offering a dedicated space for showcasing and selling handmade products. Held as part of Saudi Arabia's Year of Handicrafts 2025 initiative, the event aimed to promote the cultural and tourism sectors while celebrating the depth of the Kingdom's national identity and heritage.
