Rafha: The Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority (ITBA) announced the commencement of the beekeeping season, involving 85 beekeepers. The season at the reserve runs from July 1 until the end of April in the following year, said the authority. The reserve is home to more than 17,000 beehives that produce three of the finest types of honey: wild sidr honey, acacia honey, and spring flowers honey. The Imam Turki reserve provides optimal conditions for honey production. As Saudi Arabia's second-largest royal reserve, spanning an area of 91,500 square kilometers, it boasts breathtaking natural landscapes, a pristine environment, and unique biodiversity.
