Amman International Summer Shopping Festival continues activities

Activities of the 21st Amman International Summer Shopping Festival continues to welcome visitors to check firsthand products of participating local and foreign companies. The event, which is held at Jordan International Exhibition Center in Mecca Mall, is witnessing a “good” turnout from citizens and tourists, who come to shop and learn about the showcased products, said its organizer. The festival, which is organized by International Promoters Company for Marketing and Exhibitions (IPCO), opens daily between 3pm and 11pm and features multiples products for foodstuff industries, furniture, clothes, accessories, plastic items, detergents, and antiques. IPCO general manager, Raed Abu Sa’ada, said the festival is one of the “key” events organized in the Kingdom, due to its economic, commercial and promotional importance. In a press statement on Wednesday, he said the festival seeks to contribute to supporting efforts to promote the national industry and put the Kingdom on the international exhibition tourism map. The several-day festival, which is witnessing participation of international companies from Palestine, Syria, Iran, Pakistan and Egypt, in addition to Jordan, is scheduled to conclude its activities next Saturday.
