Riyadh: The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Johara Almutairi has received the 'Young and Young at Heart' award and has been named among the organization's Top 100 young leaders worldwide.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the recognition is in appreciation of Almutairi's distinction and adherence to quality standards, as well as her initiatives that enhanced the efficiency of internal procedures and improved the effectiveness of operational processes.
Almutairi also presented recommendations that helped increase spending efficiency while maintaining effective field engagement, in line with FAO's institutional priorities.
FAO Program Director in the Kingdom Dr. Nizar Haddad congratulated Almutairi on this achievement, affirming that it reflects the pioneering role of Saudi women within international organizations.
He added that this achievement underscores the FAO Office's commitment in the Kingdom to supporting women's empowerment, enhancing inclusivity, and promoting equal opportunities, in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.
