San salvador: General Court of Audit President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors Dr. Hussam Alangari participated as a keynote speaker at the Latin American Congress of Internal Audit (CLAI 2025), which began on Monday in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during a session discussing internal control of financial information in the public sector, Alangari highlighted the pivotal role of internal control in strengthening transparency, accountability, and trust in financial reporting. He emphasized the importance of implementing effective internal control systems for financial reporting and enhancing collaboration between internal auditors and supreme audit institutions as a key foundation for improving audit quality and performance in the public sector.
