Al-khobar: On behalf of Deputy Governor of Eastern Region Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Al-Khobar Governor Suleiman bin Abdulrahman Al-Thunayan inaugurated today the fifth international conference on diabetes and obesity updates (Saudi Endo, 2025), organized by the Saudi Diabetes and Endocrine Association. The event runs until September 6 in Al-Khobar.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Conference General Supervisor and Chairman of the Association Board of Directors Abdulaziz Al-Turki highlighted the growing importance of scientific research and technological advancement in driving development and progress. He stressed the need for cooperation among researchers and scientists to address challenges that demand innovative and effective solutions.
The conference features 40 lectures, sessions, and workshops, delivered by more than 60 physicians from six Arab and non-Arab countries, covering 11 key themes.
