Al-baha: The Al-Baha Municipality and its affiliated municipalities implemented a package of programs and initiatives during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday. These included 130 events and 68 initiatives, as part of efforts to enhance municipal services and prepare public spaces for the festive season.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality explained that the accompanying programs included distributing more than 3,000 gifts in parks and gardens, with the participation of over 300 male and female volunteers. In addition, 120 parks and gardens were prepared, 209 Eid decorations were installed, 24,790 linear meters of lighting were set up, and 34 electronic screens were activated across various locations.
The municipality reported that its oversight efforts included 1,713 health inspection tours and 869 project coordination tours. The complaints department received 588 reports, while 122 cases of visual pollution were identified and addressed in accordance with approved plans.
Regarding recent rainfall in the region, emergency teams responded to 379 incidents through 39 field teams. Efforts included water drainage, treatment of affected areas, and extensive cleaning operations covering 1,337 square meters of streets and 111,073 square meters of sidewalks, in addition to the removal of 22,024 tons of waste.
The municipality affirmed its continued commitment to developing municipal services and enhancing the efficiency of field and oversight operations, aiming to improve the urban landscape and elevate the quality of life for residents and visitors.
