Al-baha: Al-Baha Craftsmen Forum 2025, organized by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) as part of Al-Baha Summer Festival, features the participation of youth and children eager to learn the basics of traditional handicrafts for which the region is renowned.
According to Saudi Press Agency, forum supervisor Nouf Al-Harbi stated the forum offers 10 specialized training courses, including crochet doll-making, palm weaving, and stone and marble carving. The courses are led by expert instructors showcasing works that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design, striking a balance between preserving cultural heritage and meeting the evolving demands of today's market.
The forum's second week kicked off yesterday, drawing a remarkable turnout from visitors. Held in collaboration with various government and private sector partners, the forum will run for an entire month, offering various training programs, dialogue sessions, and live interactive activities celebrating cultural heritage.
