Madinah: Islamic University of Madinah President Dr. Saleh Alagla received the chair and members of an external review team from ABET, the U.S.-based accreditation body for engineering and technology. The visit came as part of the ongoing follow-up on procedures for the international accreditation of the Faculty of Engineering's programs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the visit, the team reviewed the faculty's facilities and equipment and examined its approved academic and technical standards. It also met with faculty members and students to assess hands-on learning practices and evaluate the quality of educational and training processes in line with ABET's international accreditation criteria.
