52,000 voters cast their ballots in first hours of Tunisian parl’t election

Vice president of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) said that 52,000 voters cast their ballots in the polling centers during the first hours of the parliamentary election.

In statement to MENA, he said that this is a very good percentage in comparison with the previous elections which did not witness such numbers during its first hours.

He said that the coming hours are expected to witness high turnout in the election, adding that the ISIE did not record any logistic or technical problems.

He urged the Tunisians to practice their electoral right and not to follow calls of boycotting the election.
