Riyadh: The 16th Klija Festival in Buraidah: The 16th Klija Festival in Buraidah features a variety of pavilions, with the bee, beekeepers, and olive oil pavilion being a favorite among visitors. The pavilion offers an array of honey varieties, making it simple for visitors to find the perfect one for their tastes.

According to Saudi Press Agency, beekeeper Walid Al-Fifi shared that beekeeping has been part of his life since he was young. With over 30 years of experience, he is participating in the festival to showcase a variety of honey types like sidr, samar, and talh.

Beekeeper Abdulsalam Al-Moqbel, with 8 years of experience in the field, shared how mastering the craft's secrets enabled him to produce over 10 various types of honey.

Beekeeper Mohammed Al-Muhaimeed said that his participation in the festival aims to highlight the importance of honey and its numerous benefits, noting that it is a natural ingredient used in various dishes, such as Klija, and serves as a healthy alternative to sugar in tea. He emphasized that honey production demands significant time, effort, and careful attention to selecting the right locations and seasons to produce the finest honey varieties.
