ZATCA Thwarts Smuggling of More Than 1.2 Million Captagon Pills

Customs officials at the Halat Ammar border crossing in Saudi Arabia have foiled an attempt to smuggle 1,225,200 Captagon pills into Saudi Arabia, which were hidden inside a marble mixer. After discovering the drugs using x-ray technology and sniffer dogs, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) coordinated with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control to apprehend the two individuals who were supposed to receive the shipment. ZATCA emphasized its commitment to preventing smuggling and protecting the community.
