Al-batha: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at Al-Batha border crossing foiled an attempt to smuggle 218,280 narcotic tablets concealed within a shipment of paints. Using advanced security technologies and canine detection units, inspectors discovered the illicit drugs during routine customs procedures.

According to Saudi Press Agency, ZATCA spokesperson Hamoud Al-Harbi reaffirmed the authority's commitment to securing the Kingdom's borders and protecting society from prohibited substances.
