ZATCA Highlights Security and Digital Achievements on International Customs Day

Riyadh: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) marked International Customs Day, celebrated under the theme ‘Customs Protecting Society Through Vigilance and Commitment,’ with officials from several partner entities within the customs system in attendance.



According to Saudi Press Agency, ZATCA Governor Eng. Suhail bin Mohammed Abanmi, during his address at the ceremony, stressed that customs operations form an integrated national framework crucial for protecting society and enhancing security. These operations also facilitate trade and improve the customer experience, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.



The event underscored ZATCA’s initiatives to integrate customs operations and systems to support compliance, safeguard society, and enhance security and oversight at ports of entry. Additionally, the event focused on advancing strategic partnerships aimed at protecting communities and supply chains. Several partners received honors for their contributions to supporting the customs system and promoting institutional integration.
