ZATCA Finalizes Preparations at Customs Ports for Hajj Pilgrims


Riyadh: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has completed its comprehensive operational preparations across land, air, and sea customs ports to welcome pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom for the Hajj pilgrimage.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the preparations are part of an integrated ecosystem designed to ensure that entry procedures for pilgrims are both smooth and efficient. The Authority has focused efforts on strengthening customs facilities, deploying qualified personnel, and utilizing advanced technical capabilities to enhance processing speeds and service quality.



Measures undertaken by ZATCA include upgrading arrival halls, designating dedicated routes specifically for pilgrims, and enhancing the capacity to manage increased traffic during the Hajj season. Additionally, the Authority is coordinating with relevant authorities at entry points to ensure the smooth movement of pilgrims.
