Zarqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud met with Mohammed Abu Zaid, Director of Operations of the Good Neighbors Jordan organization, to explore avenues of cooperation and officially launch the "Empowering Green Professions" project in Zarqa Governorate to enhance youth capabilities and addressing unemployment. The project aims to equip youth with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue green entrepreneurship, supporting the development of sustainable projects in sectors such as agriculture, transportation, tourism, energy, and water. Entrepreneurial ideas will be selected and supported through available resources, with coordination from the Development Unit in the Governorate, the Zarqa Labor Directorate, and the Social Development Directorates. In a press statement, Abu Qaoud emphasized that such partnerships seek to lower unemployment by creating job opportunities for youth, contributing to sustainable development and community welfare. "We aim to implement practical projects that align with market needs and i mprove the economic prospects of our youth," he said. Abu Zaid outlined the efforts of the Organization in training youth through specialized courses led by expert professionals.
