Madinah: An initiative launched by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has enabled 400 young people to engage in self-employment at the central dates market in Madinah over the past month. The program's goal is to train Saudi youth in the process of receiving and selling dates.
According to Saudi Press Agency, beneficiaries were trained on date varieties, sorting, and price estimation, and were encouraged to participate in daily auctions during the harvest season. This effort aims to boost the marketing efficiency of agricultural products through national talent.
Under the supervision of the ministry's specialists, the young people handled more than 15,000 boxes of dates, contributing to the agricultural strategies of Saudi Vision 2030.
