Madinah: During Ramadan, the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts (Wrth) is hosting its second annual Ramadan nights event for residents of Madinah and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque. The event aims to celebrate the spiritual significance of Ramadan while highlighting the cultural value of traditional arts.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event features a craft walkway inspired by Jabal Al-Rumah and Sayyid al-Shuhada, interactive workshops where visitors and artisans create collaborative pieces, and a showcase of handcrafted products by Wrth students and artisans available at the institute's store. Additionally, a Ramadan podcast exploring the Prophet's migration and historical routes is broadcast throughout the holy month.
Wrth continues to promote Saudi traditional arts locally and internationally, nurturing talent, preserving heritage, and enriching the Kingdom's cultural identity.
