Riyadh: Inspector and Field Monitor Day, celebrated annually in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 30, provides an opportunity to highlight the significant efforts made by inspectors and field monitors in safeguarding plant and animal health. The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases, known as the Weqaa Center, expressed its deep appreciation for these efforts, which contribute to enhancing and sustaining food security.
According to Saudi Press Agency, in 2025, field teams conducted over 24,000 inspection visits to plant and animal wealth projects through more than 300 inspectors and field monitors across the Kingdom. This annual event is observed in recognition of their role and to highlight their dedicated efforts in maintaining the quality of services provided to beneficiaries at the highest standards.
