Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology reports that the weather in the Eastern and Riyadh regions will remain hot to extremely hot. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are expected to affect these regions, as well as Najran, Hail, Qassim, Madinah, and Makkah. The southwestern highlands of the kingdom may experience thunderstorms.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will vary from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-26 km/h in the northern and central areas, and 24-50 km/h in the southern area. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to two and a half meters, indicating that the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 15-30 km/h in the northern part, and will shift to northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are anticipated to be between half a meter and one and a half meters, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
