Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Friday, predicting gusty winds and potential rain and hail in parts of Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Eastern, and Riyadh regions, as well as in parts of the southwest of the Kingdom. Fog formation is also expected during the night and early morning hours in these regions, along with Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, and Madinah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the forecast also includes detailed information about wind patterns over the Red Sea and the Arabian Gulf. In the northern and central parts of the Red Sea, winds will be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15-35 km/h, while in the southern part, they will shift to northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 15-50 km/h. The sea conditions will vary from calm to choppy, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to over two meters.
Similarly, in the Arabian Gulf, the wind is expected to blow northerly to northwesterly at 12-35 km/h in the northern and central regions, and southeasterly to northeasterly at 15-50 km/h in the southern part. The wave heights will again vary between half a meter to over two meters, with the sea conditions being calm to choppy.
