Weather Forecast Predicts Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Across Several Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds and varying levels of rainfall are expected to impact several regions of Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain and hail in parts of Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, and the Eastern regions.

Light to moderate rain is anticipated in Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Riyadh regions. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are likely to affect Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions, potentially impacting visibility and outdoor activities in these areas.

The weather conditions over the Red Sea will see northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, while southeasterly to southwesterly winds will prevail in the southern parts, with speeds ranging from 15 to 50 km/h. Wave heights are predicted to range from one to over two meters, making the sea conditions vary from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be southeasterly to easterly, with speeds reaching 15 to 35 km/h. Wave heights in this area may range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
