Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has released a forecast indicating that hot to extremely hot weather conditions are expected in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. The weather pattern also includes dust-stirring winds affecting parts of the region, as well as Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Najran.
According to Saudi Press Agency, thunderstorms accompanied by hail and gusty winds are anticipated in Jazan and Aseer regions. In terms of maritime conditions, the Red Sea will experience northwesterly to westerly winds with speeds ranging from 18-40 km/h, resulting in waves between half a meter to one and a half meters, while maintaining a relatively calm sea state.
In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to westerly winds are expected at speeds of 15-35 km/h. The wave heights will also range from half a meter to one and a half meters, and the sea will remain relatively calm.
