Riyadh: A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected today as the weather takes a turn across various regions. Fog and active surface winds are predicted to affect Tabuk, Al-Jouf, and Northern Borders regions, with frost potentially forming over parts of the Tabuk highlands. Fog may also develop over parts of the Eastern Region and the highlands of Jazan and Aseer regions. Additionally, dust- and sand-stirring winds will impact parts of Madinah, Hail, Qassim, and Riyadh regions.
According to Saudi Press Agency, over the Red Sea, winds will range from northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at speeds of 25 to 45 km/h, while in the southern part, they will shift to southeasterly to easterly at speeds of 12 to 32 km/h. The sea conditions will vary, with waves ranging from one to two and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part. The sea is expected to be moderate to choppy in the northern and central parts, and slight to moderate in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will be northerly to northwesterly over the northern and central parts, at speeds of 18 to 40 km/h. Meanwhile, the southern part will experience northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 10 to 28 km/h. Waves in these areas will range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts and from half a meter to one meter in the southern part. The sea will be moderate in the northern and central parts and slight in the southern part.
