According to Saudi Press Agency, during this event, the moon partially obscured some of the Pleiades stars, a phenomenon known in the Arabian Peninsula and Syrian Desert as the "Conjunction of Twenty-Five," referring to the moon's alignment with the Pleiades when it is 25 days old or older.
Observations indicated that the conjunction began on June 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM, peaking today when the moon was 26 days and 21 hours old in its waning crescent phase.
