WAMY Provides Eye Surgery Services to Patients in Guinea

Conakry: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has undertaken a significant initiative to provide ophthalmic surgical services in the Republic of Guinea. This effort was carried out in collaboration with the Guinean Ministry of Defense and the Saudi Embassy in Conakry. A medical convoy was organized, which included a team of Saudi physicians alongside doctors from various nationalities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the convoy's activities spanned from January 19 to 25. These activities included medical examinations, specialized consultations, and surgical interventions, all conducted in line with the approved program. The initiative aimed to alleviate the suffering of patients and enhance the quality of healthcare services available.

This project is part of a series of medical convoys conducted by WAMY across different medical specialties. It aims to support healthcare services in the Republic of Guinea and reflects the strong brotherly, historical, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
