Riyadh: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) organized iftar events for fasting individuals at several African universities, engaging professors and university students in the process.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the iftar meals were distributed in countries including Sierra Leone, Gambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Comoros, Mauritius, Uganda, Tanzania, and others. The program included speeches by professors and deans, who discussed the virtues of Ramadan, community compassion, and the importance of promoting moderation and a sense of belonging.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude toward Saudi Arabia for its leadership in humanitarian efforts and its support for African development, offering prayers for the Kingdom's continued security and prosperity.
